My Daycare kiddos are loving it..

So am I.. As a home daycare provider I know how much my kiddos love new toys.

I also know how much they can cost.. I tend to try to purchase things that are good quality, that the kiddos will enjoy, and that they will get years of use out of, I also like if the toy helps them learn while having fun.

 

Can I say.. the Step2 Fresh Market Kitchen does all of those things!!!

Its Wonderful.. The little bakery, the store, the little kitchen with burners that light up and make sounds on the stove, The working kitchen light, The cash register scans and beeps and opens.

Oh my kiddos are loving it. They have made me some yummy dishes. It comes with pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, silverware, cooking utensils, and bakery goods, as well as produce.

Mega Million Jackpot

Tonight is the drawing for the Mega Millions Jackpot.. as of now the winning ticket could be worth $640 Million Dollars... that is a lot of money... more then I can even imagine..
I often have wondered.. wouldn't it be better instead of one winner if they had several.. case in point in tonights drawing.. wouldn't it be better to have 640 people win a Million dollars each... Your chances of winning would be higher.. I don't even know what the chances are tonight.

In order to have a chance you have to first buy a ticket... I did that.. I actually bought 20... ok.. ok.. I know.. but its my weekly mad money. Wonder how mad I will be in the morning if I don't win!!!!

Beautiful Sunshine Filled Days

The last few days here in North Central Ohio have been Beautiful, Sunshine Filled Days... Our Temp has been above normal.. in the 80's... record highs.
I am not complaining about this weather. I love it.. The kiddos love it, the dogs love it.. Its Wonderful. I will say all of this fresh air definitely wears me out..
The nice thing about the weather is all of the flowers are blooming, the trees and bushes are budding.. its a beautiful time of the year.. I love it..

Good Morning Monday!

I am not even going to pretend that I am glad its Monday.... Goodness the weekend needed to be a little bit longer..

March Madness... Wow!!! All 4 Ohio teams made it to the Sweet Sixteen.. This is good for my Brackets.. Do you follow the insanity of the sport that seems to last forever and ever.. basketball seems to have such a long season.. maybe its because there are so many teams.. so many games.. I wish Ohio State, Ohio University, Xavier, and Cincinnati Good Luck!!!
I am hoping Ohio State makes it all the way...

Weekends.... Why are they not longer?

Weekends..
I wish they were longer... Wouldn't it be nice if we could work 5 days... have a 5 day weekend... then work 5 days and have a 5 day weekend.. I think its an awesome idea and it should be started.... NOW!!!!

Babies.... Keep ya Busy!!

Hi~!! Yes, I am still here.. but the Babies.. The Babies Keep me so Busy!!! I have a 10 week old, a 6 month old, and one little gal just turned 1.. They keep me so busy.. and no they are not mine.. I just borrow them during the day.. They definitely keep me running.. Anyways.. soon the wee babe will be on summer break and the others will be a little older so maybe then.. just maybe I won't be so BABY BUSY!!!!! OK.. gotta go.. I believe a diaper needs changed.. AGAIN!!!

A Package Arrived!

I have once again told my UPS man Gene that I love him... Do you blame me.. he brings the most wonderful Packages to my house. Look what he brought last week.. Just looking at the outside of the box was enough to make me declare my Love for the UPS man. Over at Mommygaga.com I entered the Big G/Hot Wheel Prize Pack.. and I was lucky enough to Win!

The outside of the box was enough to cause great excitement with the Daycare kiddos!!! OOOH!!! Whats inside???

All Kinds of Goodies.. 5 Large boxes of Big G Cereal to start.. This Made me smile.. Do you know how much Cereal these kiddos eat?

Heres the Goodies.. 5 Boxes of Cereal, 3 Hot Wheel Ball Caps, 3 Hot Wheel TShirts, a HotWheel Stunt and Dunk Set, a Set of The Pull Back Racers.. Oh.. what fun we have had with this box..

Hail Storm

We had a Hail Storm on Wednesday. It lasted probably 10 minutes.. I wasn't able to get lots of photos as I was busy getting the 7 kiddos shoes and things on just in case the Tornado Siren blew.. It didn't , but you never know. I hurried and stuck a little bucket out there to catch some of the hail.
You can't tell it from this picture.. but it was coming down pretty hard and heavy out there.

Aww finally the bucket started to get some in it..

It kept bouncing out.

Still hailing but I went out and got the bucket..

See that tiny bucket of Hail.. it provided about 10 minutes of entertainment for 5 kiddos.. They loved it!

Its a "Green" Swap... So you find a Bag of some sort around your house, you put some Books you have laying around in the bag and then when its time you place it in a box and ship it to the person you are swapping with.. New books!!! I love to read so this is a great way to clean out some books and receive some new ones..
