Oreck Steam-It I want one!!!

The Oreck Steam-It is something I could definitely use. I recently moved to a new home which now has several floors that need cleaned. This Oreck Steam-It would be fantastic to have for these floors.
Also the Steam-It comes with attachments so you can use it to clean lots of other things in your home. As a home daycare provider I definitely have lots of surfaces that need cleaned. I like that you do not have to use any harsh chemicals to clean. Just water, its the steam that cleans.

Bears.... Smart!!!

With winter here there are days that I feel like this big old Grizzly Bear.. Just plain ole Cranky!!!! I seem to get Cabin Fever really fast anymore.

The Grizzly side of me wants winter to just go away... So I was thinking maybe... I could be a little more like the Bear. Hibernation!!! I could Hibernate. I mean Bears sleep from about October until April or even May!!! Hello do you know how happy I would be with that much sleep, and they lose weight while they are in Hibernation.

This beautiful Brown Bear says it all... Bears are Smart.
Sleeping, staying warm, and losing weight. I am going to be a Bear in my next life.

Now I know all bears don't hibernate. That their surroundings, the weather all kinds of things can mess them up. The reason I know this is my Aunt has had a Bear visiting her porch the last few weeks. He loves her bird feeders. Crazy Bear go take a nap!!!

Homemade Christmas Gifts.

I am super busy today. I am making some homemade Christmas gifts.. Well goodie boxes.
So far the Turtles are done and ready to be packed.
Now I am whipping up the Oreo Truffles, then the fudge and then the peanut brittle. I am gifting these to "My Boys"..
I know they will love and appreciate the goodie boxes and I know I don't have a bunch of money to buy other things.
They are also all coming for dinner on Monday night. Beef and Noodles.. can't wait it will be great fun.

A visitor

Last night one of my Daycare Mom's came to pick up her son. She walked in with the most adorable little visitor. Her new puppy.. Isn't she just adorable..

I would tell you her name but I don't know how to spell it.. It is Sweetie in Spanish. She honestly is a Sweetie.. I told her mommy no bringing puppies to my house. It gives me the fever. I don't want or need another dog.... but oh my, my that face could make me want one quick.

Just adorable!!

Gingerbread House

I bought a Gingerbread House Kit at Walmart recenty. It was made by Wilton. I liked it because the House was actually already put together the kids and I just had to decorate it. This is what it looked like out of the box. It came with a few assorted candies, Gumdrops, and little round candy balls. We added some leftover candy and cookies.

The Daycare kiddos loved doing this project.

The Candy Corn and little Oreos left from Halloween worked perfectly.
The Wilton set was really nice except I had a problem with the icing which was included. You were supposed to add water and it was supposed to be as thick as toothpaste.
Didn't work. Thank goodness my sister stopped by and saw the mess we were making. She ran to her house and got us some good ole Pillsbury frosting. Worked beautifully.


These kits are very reasonably priced at only $10.00.

The best time of day 9:30 am.

I love 9:30a.m. It is my favorite time of the day... Why you ask... Well see my TV below. See that picture. That Picture can make 4 Daycare Boys sit still..See, They won't move. They will be frozen in front of Dinosaur Train for 30 minutes.

Its Wonderful.

Ok.. gotta go, while they sit still I can unload the dishwasher, Throw in a load of laundry. Take the dog out. Mop the kitchen floor and possibly clean both bathrooms.

Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos???

Have you tried these yet??? What you haven't!! Okay do yourself a favor and go out and get a bag. They are so delicious. They are a little bit Spicy. (My dog who eats everything wouldn't eat them) But yet they are Sweet and the Chili.. YUmmy!!
