Blog Party 2009 Now Closed, and the Winner Is!!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by during the Blog Party, It was great fun...

5 Minutes for Mom Blog Party has officially started. Wow, My first Blog Party and it is awesome.
Ok, about me!!!
I am Aunt Rene, not my real name it is Maureen.
I am a single, fun loving, busy, coupon clipping, blogging, groceryshopping, bargain shopper, home daycare provider. I do not have any kids of my own, but I usually spend the day with 6 kids all day. I love them all dearly.
I share a home with my mom, have a large family. I am the oldest of 6 kids and all of our names begin with M. I have 5 wonderful inlaws and 9 nieces and nephews and one great niece. We live within 8 miles of each other and talk often.
I have an adorable Mutt named Rocky, and a Sweet old cat named Annie.
I am new to blogging and so far I love it.

Ok, the Party.. You really have to go if you haven't been. It is awesome, I am going back in a minute.

    Hello Rene-

    Thanks for stopping by my blog. It takes a very special person to be a caretaker of other's children. I admire that in others. I was a nanny all through college but it was only for one little boy, I couldn't imagine a housefull! My mom was one of six kids and 4 of them all live in the same town and work together (for the family business). I think it is great when families can be in such close proximity. We live a little under an hour from there and love to go visit because you can see aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents all at once. Plus no one misses a holiday!

    It's so nice to meet you-thank you for coming to my blog party! Tytus is a blast and 8 months old is such a fun age. He is into everything right now and I spend my day trying to find new things to entertain him with :)

    I love that you have a daycare. My Mom had a home daycare last year,but has since switched over to a preschool for 3,4 and 5 year olds. She teaches two days a week and loves it!
    I have spent a few years working in child care centers and always enjoyed it. I think that it really helped to prepare me (somewhat) for babies of my own...
    I look forward to reading your blog!

    Thanks for coming by my li'l blog! I loved being in a military family. Deployments were hard on the kids, but they were small when we got out, so I guess we managed ok...
